The organisers hope that the local peoplewill enjoy the ten-day polocrosse World

Cup event and make the most of the spectacle on their doorstep. Onley Ground Equestrian Complex near Dunchurch is hosting the event from July 8-17.

With over 15000 tickets sales expected and up to 500 people involved with the tournament the event will be good for the local hotels, B&B, restaurants and local traders.

Free tickets are being offered to school parties and children under 10 years. The organisers are keen to make this a fun day out for all the family with children’s entertainment.

Polocrosse– a cross between polo and Lacrosse - sees riders throw and catch rubber balls using a net on a stick. They will complete on a pool of 150 horses, showing amazing speed and skill in their quest to score goals.

The Equestrian complex can be found just off the A45, opposite the turning to Grandborough.
