Jeremy Wright MP

Jeremy was elected to Parliament in May 2005 to represent the constituency of Rugby & Kenilworth and in July 2007 he was appointed as an Opposition Whip.

In 2007 Jeremy set up the All Party Parliamentary Group on Dementia, which has attracted more than 50 members from the Houses of Parliament. The Group is cross party with officers elected from the Labour Party and Liberal Democrat Party, as well as the House of Lords. Jeremy was a trustee of the Community Development Foundation, he has served on the Constitutional Affairs Select Committee, and has also served as the Vice Chairman of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Sewers and Sewerage.

In May 2010, Jeremy was elected to represent the newly formed constituency of Kenilworth & Southam. He is now a government whip and holds the office of Lord Commissioner of the Treasury.
