Conservative Candidate for Warwickshire Police and Crime Commissioner, Philip Seccombe, has welcomed news that crime has fallen by more than a quarter since 2010, according to the independent Crime Survey for England and Wales.
Christmas is a magical time, especially for children – a time filled with beautifully decorated trees sparkling with coloured lights, presents and thoughts of Santa’s sleigh rushing through the sky led by his loyal reindeer.
Most people in this country own a small business, work for a small business or know somebody who does and the small businesses in my constituency of Kenilworth and Southam are the lifeblood of our local economy.
One hundred days ago the Prime Minister stood on the steps of Downing Street and said that the first Conservative majority Government for 18 years would govern on behalf of everyone. It is this brand of modern, One Nation, compassionate conservatism that has guided us since 8 May – and it will continue to guide this Government for the rest of this Parliament.
Some may think that spending my Sunday afternoon planting a tree with local children and listening to the bells from All Saints church nestled between the Burton Dassett hills in the very southerly part of the Kenilworth and Southam constituency has very little to do with establishment of Parliamentary democracy.
With the votes counted and the results declared, I want to take this opportunity to thank you, the people of the Kenilworth and Southam constituency for re-electing me as their Member of Parliament for the next five years.
